| چکیده | ||
| مطالعه در مورد مردمان هندواروپایی آغازی و هندوایرانی آغازی همواره از موضوعات پرچالش در باستان‌شناسی خاور نزدیک و آسیای مرکزی بوده است. مسئلۀ موطن اولیة آنان، همین‌طور مسیرهایی که برای مهاجرت در پیشگرفتند از موضوعاتی بوده است که دانشمندان نظرهای متفاوتی دربارة آن مطرح کرده‌اند. هدف این مقاله بررسی نظریات دانشمندان مختلف دربارة سرزمین اصلی و زمان مهاجرت آنها از سرزمین اوّلیه تا هنگام ورود به ایران بر پایة داده‌های باستان‌شناختی است. عمدۀ اطلاعات مورداستفاده‌ی ما از کتب و مقالاتی هستند که درزمینۀ باستان‌شناسی اروپای شرقی، آسیای مرکزی، ایران و افغانستان نوشته‌شده‌است. علاوه بر این اشاراتی هم به مطالعات زبان‌شناسان در این زمینه داشته‌ایم. بر اساس این پژوهش هندواروپاییان آغازی در هزارۀ پنجم و چهارم پ.م در استپ‌های کاسپی – پونتی زندگی می‌کردند، سپس هندوایرانیان در حدود اواخر هزارۀ سوم شروع به مهاجرت به سمت شرق و غرب یعنی آسیای مرکزی و اروپا کردند و سرانجام در نیمه دوم هزاره‌ی دوم پ.م هندوایرانیان آغازی از آسیای مرکزی به‌سوی ایران و هند حرکت کردند. | ||
